Fair play making your own taco shells, looks amazing
They’re easier than flour if you ask me, though I do have a tortilla press which makes getting them thin and round a doddle. Masa harina is fairly easy to get these days and I got myself about 10kg earlier this year and mexigrocer had them reduced to £1 a kilo.

I've always thought of the tacos as hard shells but tortilla wraps as soft, maybe that's incorrect? Or can it be either or?

In the uk yeah, we know a taco as a hard shell corn tortilla but more traditional in mexico a taco is a corn tortilla filled with meat. Kinda like bread becomes a sandwich or toasty depending on what you do with it.

Bovril is so versatile,
Bovril on toast
Cheese & Bovril sandwiches
Bovril on crumpets with a poached egg on top
Making a cottage pie? chuck some beefy Bovril in it.
All the above is delicious but don't forget as a warm beefy drink. Hits the spot just right.

Wouldn't be Christmas without the following, so moreish, but they do contain MSG...
