This one is from AVIN USA, the maker of my stereo, it's the AutoPlay dongle but the new revision which they don't have on the website yet, the old one on the website for ref: https://avinusa.com/autoplay-usb-adapter-w-support-for-wireless-c-play-and-a-auto.htmlI need one of these. Let me know how you get along. Have you got a model number?
Does it vary from car to car though? I know that not all OEM car stereos are built with the same specs, so buffer issues or cache/memory can become a problem if it gets too bogged down?
The other thing I always keep in my tool box for doing repairs are cocktail sticks, again there will be those who know.
I've got one of the CarlinKit units. It works fine most of the time, but sometimes it has a horrible lag on it which makes it useless for navigation as it's about 10seconds behind where you actually are!
The AAWireless one is supposed to be very good and they have a very active XDA forum thread
If your running a MIUI os though dont bother with android auto wireless as theres been a bug in the os that miui havent fixed for over 12 months that makes
the connection from the phone to cars headunit drop when the mobile signal switches between 4g/3g/5g etc.
Yes android onlyIsn't that just for Android Auto though, not CarPlay?
Butt plug?I want post a picture of my latest toy but I've only got a stock photo.
I'm really excited.
I use an AAWireless dongle that I backed a few years ago. It works flawlessly now, and they've been really good with updates and such, at least from what I've followed.Does it vary from car to car though? I know that not all OEM car stereos are built with the same specs, so buffer issues or cache/memory can become a problem if it gets too bogged down?
Nobody can possibly know what all those buttons do.
