Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Storage boxes are outrageously expensive. Who would have thought peak adulting would be whacking £120 on boxes... Luckily some are "broken enough to complain but still function", and hopefully they'll send some more and I keep the broken ones.

Just be glad you don't need specialist ones.

I was debating picking up some Record boxes to ship some records to Spain with my folks when they drive back to save one some transport costs and they cost a freaking fortune!

This thing is amazingly bright.

Thanks amazon on the price glitch....and @SexyGreyFox
I've just got a Cateye ViZ450 rear light and I'm very happy with it. Bright, but not stupid bright (IMO). Just don't buy the bracket that Amazon recommends as a bundle - although you get a flexibracket with the light, the SP-11 is the correct fixed bracket for it.

Plot twist. I've unscrewed the mount and I'm using it as a hand torch. Only got it as it was a mega bargain, with no intention of using it on the bike.

I'm using my Blackburn 700 has the house torch and the 1500 is definitely on my bike.
My only wish is that it had got a proper bracket with it for putting on the bike instead of the heavy strap.

Because why not
because now your on a(nother) watchlist ;)

I would imagine being a part of those particular groups would mean you need a tough, reliable time keeping device. :)

Don't worry everyone. My toes are now hidden :)
Toe socks are the best.
For your running, given the damage you've been doing to your feet, have you investigated the more 'barefoot' type shoes from Vivo, Freet, Vibram etc.? Might be worth giving a shot if you're feet are currently being smooshed inside compacting shoes.
There is a significant period of adjustment advisable before covering the same distance and speed etc. but I'm a full convert from Saucony now.

Yeah, have a couple pairs or Vivos, although been favouring Altra as running >50 miles needs some kind of cushioning!

I documented it a bit in the running thread, but the main issue (inflamed toe joint capsule), is likely to have been caused from transitioning to Vivo shoes. I meant to just wear them for short runs but then was on holiday and threw in a couple of longer unplanned 10ish mile runs which deviated away from the nice soft sand and up some technical rocky hills which then had steep descents and huge amounts of impact (i'm ~100kg so it's a lot).
Then i got back from holiday and 2 weeks later had a 45 mile run, i got attacked by a dog after ~8 miles which charged my left thigh and i assume my form then adapted for the remaining 35 miles which put additional stress onto the foot which was already possibly a little damaged from wearing the Vivos on holiday more than i should.

For the time being i'm alternating between some Hokas which help protect the ball of my foot and some more cushioned Altras for road/trail. Once this foot pain eases i'm going to just keep working on strengthening my foot, stick with Vivos for general walking around and the Altras for running. With a bit of luck trying to shed some weight too ahead of a 100 mile run in July.

I've been away from a dedicated camera for nearly 1 year, but I have returned. Expect crispy super sallow depth field photos of random things I buy coming soon :p

A mint condition used Fujifilm X-T3 and a Fujifilm XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR.
