This Instant And Moment - 2023!

Yesterday banged inside of foot on my bed frame. It’s painful to stand on it and walk on it. Pain covers the sole. My job is 98% on feet. Have a little bruising and some swelling.

In other news, a customer asked me if we have any paddling pools!

My grandad died recently and seems someone has chucked out all his old cine film though I have no idea what state it was in, quite disappointed, I tried to get some interest in digitalising it awhile back but there wasn't much interest. Shame as he'd filmed all over Europe, especially Italy, Switzerland and Austria, Scandinavia plus some mountain climbing across the globe in the years immediately after WW2 - a real snapshot of an era long gone.

A reminder for anyone to do this ASAP. Especially given how fragile magnetic tape is...
 
Trying to lose weight at the moment - doing a pretty good job but I feel like in a mind game with my scales.

Needed a poo, so decided to weigh myself before and afterwards. Let’s see how much my poo stores affect my weight!

Do my giant poo.

Step on scales.

Gained half a pound. Wtf!

Got to work on a new site recently but not impressed with the state of the place old council buildings used for storage all big empty rooms and no bloody lights working when I get there I'm alone and its dark you have to use your phone to see where you're going
Boss showing me the site first time: "Do you know whats in there?" shining the light in the room
Me: looks in the gloomy room. Its full of coffins, hundreds of them, stacked on end
Boss (laughing) "You're not bothered are you? Put off?"
Me: So long as they're not occupied, I said.

Something similar happened to my fathers old Super 8 film footage had footage of my parents after marriage, me in a pram/cot stuff like that it disappeared in the upheaval after the divorce I did get the projector working once as a teenager so at least I did get to see some of it, once
