Getting closer and closer to moving to Wales.... Still got lots of things to do...
Trying to chill. Meanwhile rabbits are destroying their cages in the kitchen because I get the little hay tubes, saw a slit down the length of them and then slip them over the bars of the cage. They love it, but it's so noisy lol.

Trying to decide what pick up truck we'll need for Wales, what grants are available for wind turbines and solar panels, trying to decide what motorbike too, then when we move into the house it's over 200yrs old so we'll have to strip everything out as been owned by elderly person last 50yrs so everything is stained and smells.
Luckily I've got a very supportive job now enabling this.
Oh and I'm off to Australia later this year to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and tour east coast. Oh, popping to New Zealand as well....

Sounds like an awesome year ahead then given some of the troubles you've had over the last few (if i'm thinking of the right person!)

I'd suggest these 2 books if you're looking to do maintenance properly, i bought them for our last house ~150yrs old

Sadly sold them last month or could've sent them over.

Trouble? Yeah, probably me lol.
It's been a rough time the last year or so but hopefully turned a corner. Could certainly not afford any of this without a new job.
That's great advice, cheers. We'll look into these because it's the first time we've had a cesspit or oil fired central heating or dealt with Aga's or stone houses with zero insulation lol. Luckily it's not Grade 2 so we can do what we want within reason but because it's cottage Esque we don't want to do anything not period to the house, although solar panels at end of garden is an option. Wouldn't want them on the roof because not sure it would support the extra weight but also it just wouldn't look 'right'.

Ps they're the same book?

I think i was thinking last 10ish years (bike accident, training as doctor but issues due to injuries following accident, that kind of thing?). Scary how long we all have spent on here. I probably know more about some people on here than my own mates!

Youtube is great too, as is this website for advise/tips/recommended tradesmen

20008 motorbike accident and the fallout since. Wasn't a doctor but close. A physiotherapist attempt. Wouldn't wish a head injury on my worst enemy with the fatigue and other issues.

It is scary, I lost a lot of memories but I do remember certain names and people from various forums including this one. But there are some people I trust on forums on certain issues more than people I know in real life lol.

I've said this before but online product launches trying to imitate Jobs era Apple are so ******* cringe. Just watching a VW one showing the ID2 All (I think they're saying all but can't tell) and it's 35 minutes in and they still haven't shown the concept yet (just showing it now as I hit 'post reply').

Just tell us what it is, key features, price and when. I don't want to hear how VW wants to be a "love brand" once more. FFS.

Just been out with the dogs, best time of year now with the birds tweeting and some trees/plants starting to flower. Tried to take a photo of a owl but just couldn't get close enough. What is the point of zoom on a mobile, totally useless.

After 3 months of a broken PC I figure it’s time to replace the most likely issue, the PSU. What the hell happened to PSU prices! Arrives tomorrow, so looks like I’ll take the old cables out tonight.

Trying to lose weight at the moment - doing a pretty good job but I feel like in a mind game with my scales.

Needed a poo, so decided to weigh myself before and afterwards. Let’s see how much my poo stores affect my weight!

Do my giant poo.

Step on scales.

Gained half a pound. Wtf!

Perhaps it was a floater, and therefore had a negative mass?

FFS. Change the PSU. Still dead. Change the cable and it works. Oh well, I have a new more powerful PSU I guess.

I hate Mother's Day in retail with a passion. It's much more busier than Father's Day. Think of yourself, friends, family etc who have contact with one parent. 95% of the time its the mother.

Then got e-mails from various retailers past 10 days or so with "your ideal gift for your mum". Yeah right £1150 for a diamond bracelet.

I don't fall into the trap of buying anything for my mum on mother's day. I buy things throughout the year. Same applies to my dad,
