In better news... Added 6 new titles to my collection!
Got them with a faulty console... That console looks like I should have it up and running a bit later tonight! Starting to get some quite sort after titles in here
Titles like shining force final conflict and micro machines are worth good money... shining force is JP only and seems to command about £70... not bad for a title I got in a £30 broken GG bundle
We might have to face off KLAX on the LYNX vs the Game Gear!!! watch this space! BennVenn Lynx vs McWill GG!

Gentlemen, that wonderswan with nasty screen...
Was actually pretty cool to fix these ones, I have 3 of them, this one is done and the other two are prepped ready for the same treatment All it needed was patience, care and a spare polarising filter I had laying around for a gameboy build I did. To give you an idea of what all 3 looked like when they came to me, if you look at the black and green ones you can see the adhesives used between the filters and the screens are breaking down and really nasty, the blue one is already fixed in this image but was similar condition to the green:
I have no idea why I bought these tbh as no English language games were released and I don't speak Japanese, still though pretty cool consoles and I do have a game coming so hopefully I will be able to show you guys one of these bad boys working
I did spend a stupid amount on the original boxed rechargeable batteries and charger though, like over double what I paid for the 3 consoles. Oh.... and I do have another handheld on the way I am excited to share

Ohh and the game gear that came with the games... pretty nasty, lots of battery acid corrosion:
But not all that glitters is gold, beautiful OG screen on it! You know what that means.... Free games! and £10 in my pocket ahh and I also got some accessories with it that I will post up for some retro loving! I probably went a bit higher than I normally would on this one as the bundle had 8 games, 6 of which I didn't have so at £80 it was pretty steep but having sold several copies of the remaining games I knew marble madness is £7.50, sonic 2 is £6 or I can bundle it with the repaired console for £90. So im making very little on a bundle like this but it does flesh out my collection and give me something to fix.

65 each not really worth it. I mean its OK but not exciting like the oled deal

I just straight up plugged a JP 100v charger into 240v uk mains.... It didnt do bad, lasted like 30 seconds before we had smoke and some smells... oops gonna have to repair that now.

can't wait. Oh and your mk2 pad and that other mk2 pad are going to be merged into one really nice one and one not so nice one with a broken shoulder button. And you know the NGPC is going to get some mods... all the mods, If I can find mods it's getting them.

More saturn = better! I was watching a video thing last night on the youtube and I need one of those ram disk things and a game for it... I was watching something about marvel vs street fighter i think and that came with one. I want to collect more for it but some of the prices are totally silly.
I have so many consoles to photo for the thread that are freshly built. I need to get around to sharing over the next few days.

Saturn had the best capcom beatem ups. The sound quality was way better than playstation.
Oh we’ve all been there!There’s an action replay cart that can do the 4m ram functionality for a fraction of the cost that’ll cover off what you need. Marvel v Capcom needed a 1m cart and king of fighters needed a 4m (nearly picked up both over the years…)

First thing to share... I think I have a joycon issue...
I can't seem to stop buying broken joycons and fixing them... its a real problem.

Loving the thread. I have a 60hz modded SNES, Megadrive (once had one with a 10MHz overclock too), Saturn. Modded a Gamecube myself. Various OG Xbox upgrades too.
I once tried to fix some dead laser dreamcasts but it never worked.
I'm a mechanical design engineer but never quite got the hang of electronic repairs!

Gents... Meet the two latest gameboy creations... I decided to make some nice pokemon themed Gameboys Bought for £20 each not working! I refreshed the boards, I gave them laminated IPS's new buttons, cases and a nice box each
