Vince, do you have any experience with repairing Surface Pro 4’s, mines got an issue with the touch function, basically the last inch of the screen vertically doesn’t respond, same for a vertical strip in the middle. Wonder how easy/cheap a fix it could be?

The first one I put a cheap chinese battery in and it set itself on fire first power on pain in the arse to repair, I use my 600w 340v 3d printer hot plate on them and you almost always break something on the way in, normally the digitizer cable. but since you are replacing that it doesnt really matter.

Do you fancy a gohow much are digitizers for them? May aswell have the battery done at the same time.
I could have a look. its been a while since ive touched one so no idea on parts costs/availability these days.

Take a good look at this bad boy because next time you see it, it wont be the same - Also sound is incredibly quiet so my "fully working" console that's been apparently refurbed is likely going to need some love... I'm talking quieter than the GBC and the GBC is too quiet. I dont think it matters so much tbh even though I paid quite a bit for it as there was no way I would be leaving it stock anyway. What i do like though is SNK keeping it real with standard fighting moves... do a haduken with the first fighter you pick and your damn right he is going to send a fireball rolling across the screen Well played SNK, well played Love that!

What are people's thoughts on 60GB BC PS3s these days? Last time I looked a few years back they regularly went for silly money but you seem to be able to get one fairly cheaply on eBay etc now. I had a 40GB PS3 YLOD (which I revived for long enough to get my save data off of!) on me many moons ago so I do wonder how many of these 60GB ones are still reliable or what issues they face after 15 years of use.
Reliability is the issue, a lot of people are just replacing the nec tokins with little regard as to if the actual issue is the tokins or not and while that can allow the console to work again it's not necessarily the correct fix in terms of longevity. I might buy a few and have a little play

I dont have one.. Didnt keep any sadly. I do have a ps4 here its white.
Thats all we know about it.. its white and its got a new hdmi and a new retimer chip. works beautifully now. Pad is pretty cool as well.
