The Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom(use spoiler tags!)

It looked great! Sort of like BoTW 1.5! I absolutely loved botw.

Wish the switch was more powerful, and produced better visuals. Won’t be playing this til switch 2 unfortunately :(
 
Have now preordered. Very excited, although annoyingly I'm going away for work the day before it releases so won't get to play until the following week.

Or do you mean as in you've ordered physical and it won't turn up in time

I'm disappointed that there is no Switch 2 its long overdue.
I've given my Switch away, so was hoping to get this have with a new Switch but no way I'm paying £250+ for a switch now.
 
Why is it long overdue? Generations usually last around 7 years. Probably looking at 1-2 more years at least. Hoping we’ll get something next year but Nintendo may want to push it further.
 
This. I've enjoyed using my Switch, but over the last couple of years in particular it's really been showing its age with some titles struggling to maintain acceptable frame rates eg. Hyrule Warriors. As you say, the CPU in the Switch was already at least 6 years out of date when the console released. Hence the memes about modern day toasters, refridgerators etc being more powerful than the Switch. A new refresh of the system is overdue ; to be fair, the pandemic and spiralling costs of silicon etc have likely been at least partly culpable for the delay.
