7900 XT Worth it?

Thinking of getting 7900 xt but what is the gpu like?
Hear so much pros and cons dont know what gpu to go for
and is £750 just to much for that gpu is there better deals?

Got one Friday to have a play with and it's excellent, quality of the cooler is awesome and you get all that lovely 20GB of vRam you won't have to be concerned about it running out!

Of course it’s still very expensive, but it’s the best GPU at that price point IMO.

The alternative is a 4070Ti which has substantially less vram. Although it does have the Nvidia range of tech like DLSS3 etc.

DlSS isnt really a thing for 1st person shooter games is it?

Agreed. I think it needs to be around £600 (or less) though, of course, that won't be happening anytime soon.

Anything near and over a grand is a ripoff. 4070 at £550 is what you should be looking at.

I keep looking at the 4070 and comparing it to my RX6800.
The 4070 doesn't come off particularly great to me.
