At this point I'd certainly be keeping the 6800!
RMx750 Corsair 80 Plus GoldWhat's the exact make and model of your PSU?
That should run a 7900xt just fine.RMx750 Corsair 80 Plus Gold
At £750 it's probably the most "Worth it card"
mostly play warzone 2 and new games coming out
does anyone think there will be a gpu price drop anytime soon?
It is.
But it's the closest thing I think we've got to an acceptable priced GPU
Maybe, but it's still not acceptable and prices will continue to be ****** if people keep buying mediocre cards at flagship prices.
I'd like to see the 7900XT at £700 but 7% over that number....... its not that bad and AMD have reduced it from £900, yes that price was stupid to begin with but at least it was more than a token reduction in price to something not too unreasonable, they made a true effort.
I'm not sure how much of it is official price drops to be honest.
There's only one SKU at £750.
If AMD make FSR3 work on the 6800 it could be a great card yet for yearsI keep looking at the 4070 and comparing it to my RX6800.
The 4070 doesn't come off particularly great to me.
FSR3 will def branch off though, as the 7000-series has AI upscaling capabilities to utilise too.If AMD make FSR3 work on the 6800 it could be a great card yet for years
They claim that they are trying to make it work on the 6000 series and at least some Nvidia & Intel cards, they claim that is why it is taking longer to release,FSR3 will def branch off though, as the 7000-series has AI upscaling capabilities to utilise too.
) it is a nice fast and quiet card, upped d2r to 165hz and upped all to ultra setting using a gsync 1440p monitor, hope it will last me 10 years
old card is a 1070 that has lasted me 7 yearsThat 7900xt caught my eye at £750 and will likely be what I get this week. Am thinking of spunking an extra £110 on the nitro+ if its worth it (probably not I imagine)
