What TV shows are you currently watching

Florida Man on netflix, the preview sold this but wasnt expecting to much after the first episode. Glad i went back to it mind, a simple story with par acting that has become the Netflix norm. Anyhow it turned out ok once it got going, good for a mid week binge.

Also watched Beef, they really could have just ended it at ep6, after that it kinda just lost the plot! that aside it was a fun enough watch.

Quoting the fantastic Chernobyl, Not great, not terrible. for both series.

I watched the first episode of better call Saul last night, was bored.
Were you a big BB fan? For me BCS took about 3 or 4 seasons before it started to get interesting. I guess that would be one of my arguments in the BB v BCS discussion. BB took me maybe 3 or 4 eps to get hooked. BCS wouldn't have survived that long if it had been a standalone show.

Nope and please don't chastise me for it, but I've not seen BB. I can understand your pov though, the first episode of BcS didn't have anything gripping at all.

BCS works better when you've got some idea of who Jimmy/Saul is, hence the recommendation to watch Breaking Bad first. Give BB a go and see if it sticks.

With that said, the first two seasons of BCS were an absolute slog at times, the latter seasons however are some of the better TV of recent years.

BCS had me hooked from the start, but as above, you really need to watch BB first - you then get a feel of Saul and how he ended up the way he did.
I was hooked to an extent but anything to do with Chuck I found frustrating to the point of taking a break from it for a few years :(

But Chuck is almost the sole reason why Saul is the way he is! Tough going watching him be manipulated the way he was, but I found it fascinating.
Totally agree, he's a pivotal character but unsure if it was his characterisation or way he was played, just found myself bored much of the time he was in the scenes.
