It looks like Ukraine successfully hit one of Russia's “unstoppable” hypersonic missiles last day over Kyiv.

prighozin says Wagner will retreat from Bakhmut on May 10 and the Russian army will have to take over the positions or lose it to Ukraine

It was only a few weeks ago that vatniks were celebrating Wagner's victories and claiming this would be the first time in history that a mercenary group had fully encircled a city while fighting a conventional standing army.

That didn't happen, and now they're withdrawing without taking Bakhmut. You love to see it!

:D

Russians will have to programme `jinking` in terminal phase, if that is even possible for a mach 5 missile

Hypersonic missile is such a buzzword it has no real meaning. It's fascinating once you start doing a bit of reading to find out how many military buzzwords there are thrown around to make things sound more impressive than they are. The kh-47 slows down to Mach 4 and less in its terminal phase, that's not hypersonic. Show me a missile that is hypersonic at sea level, that would be impressive - like a scram hypersonic cruise missile

He clearly see's the writing on the wall and does not want anything to do with the upcoming counter offensive.

Considering Ukraine seem to be holding well without bringing much of the counteroffensive equipment to the front, at least as far as we know, bodes well. They can just bleed Russia in the meantime.

Only the lower spin cycle washing machine chips were available
When they get the higher spin speed chips back in stock expect faster missiles ;)

Also flies in a straight line , which makes it predicable. Ask the USA and the F117a what happens when something is routinely predictable ;)

As soon as they have velocity and ehading the computer works out the intercept needed. All thats then needed is a fast reacting system to engage. Im leaning towards Patriot (PAC3 or even Skyceptor) , as no one is jumping up and down as to what was used

That is brilliant bit of satire that sums up Russia's invasion. A had a good giggle at "Kadyrov has rumoured to have bloated into a spy balloon and lunched himself into the Stratosphere"
It's brilliant, and true, Kadrov came into the war all tiktoc and bragging, his 300 squad of his best sent to asasinate Zelenski near the beginning were wiped out now he has lost so many troops his enemies at home are eyeing him up.

Has he been seen since? As for the Wagner dude desperate for ammunition, he was being paid 100 million a month but he was supposed to source his own ammunition for that.
One thing this war will do, is we are going to see countless billions invested in to drones now. It wouldn't surprise me if armies end up with vast numbers of the things. Reminds me of some scifi films.
Reminds me of the Gerard Butler film where a mass of drones tries to take out the president, one of the something is falling films.

Looking back now its pretty much a reality, they really are a huge importance to any war effort.

I suppose when you think about it when those missiles started testing the west would have been watching very carefully and planning how to stop them, well now we see that result.

It will **** Putin off big time if his super duper missiles can be shot down.

He seems to have gone very quiet for some time now.

Would be nice to see one of those drones dropping a grenade on him hiding in a foxhole but then he's probably not been anywhere near the front lines.
