YouTube Premium, Why Bother?

My phone, my wife's phone, living room TV, bedroom TV, wife's laptop, my pc, premium is a no-brainer

You can skip ads without the sub, just press the ? In the bottom left corner and press the option that this ad isn’t applicable (can’t remember exact words). Bit of a faff but well worth remembering when you get an advert for 30 seconds.
Exactly this. Once you get used to doing it you don't notice it ( this is on my TV) although I'm considering premium for yt music and ditching prime music.

And this is using a revolut card? Any way round this?

I used to use Vanced/Ad Block for YouTube, but as I started watching it more on my TV/iPad/iPhone, I wanted a more permanent/easy solution.

I’ve been on premium for a couple of years now and it’s excellent.

Obviously, no ads are great on my main device, but having offline playback and no ads on anything I cast to is legendary.

And the thing is, it costs me £2 a month.

I spent that on a bottle of water at a petrol garage.

Vanced is a great option if you meet the specific criteria, but otherwise it’s well worth the £2 a month for a hassle free, guaranteed ad-free viewing experience on any device you use with your account.

I did it all on the phone. £1.22 or so a month.

I mainly use YouTube and android and the main benefits are removing ads and being able to switch apps with it still playing in the background.

I refuse to pay for premium though, so tolerate the ads and lack of flexibility. Just means I use Spotify for music and podcasts which I already pay for as much as possible.

If you are a heavy youtube user though, definitely worth it to remove ads.
The same for me.
I don't pay for YouTube Premium as I use Spotify.
I guess the main reason to pay for it is to remove ads, and if I used YouTube more, I'd pay.
