Love to see Prigozhin continue to lose his ****

Ukraine keeps retaking land to the north and south of Bakhmut including 5km2 in the north today. He blames the Russian army because it's their conscripts manning the flanks while Wagner stay inside the city and he's worried that the city will get encircled

Maybe this has be the ‘play’ from Ukraine all along. Suck Wagner forces into an already destroyed city/kill zone then cut them off and pound them out of existence.

Even in this day of drones and smart munitions the city is still a kill zone if you hold the western heights - if Ukraine has a freehand on the flanks Wagner is almost certainly screwed.

Best thing they can do is avoid the city entirely and encircle it. Force a retreat or fully cut the russian forces off. they need to avoid getting bogged down in street to street/building to building fighting.

@Feek How do you post a tweet in isolation when it's part of a thread without showing part of the thread

Take this for example

There doesn't seem to be anyway to get the code for tweet of the BigBen missile without it posting the prior tweet in the thread as well

Like I just want the info from Melitopol to be posted, yet it will post the video of Bakhmut also

It just ends up bloating the post with extra chaff

That’s what I mean, they’ve drawn large numbers (I believe) of Wagner forces into the kill zone with their resistance/defence of bakhmut. Now they’re going to push to encircle them as the Russian ‘conscripts’ on the flanks aren’t going to be able to hold their positions (so it seems anyway) - thus not just cutting off the tip of the spear but breaking it clean off at the shaft. Pull their own forces out of the city and pummel it with arty. Though that’s just me assuming there’s nothing much left worth saving in bakhmut at this stage.

Don't think you can when it is part of a thread - annoying - short of maybe retweeting yourself and posting that but it still adds some fluff.

Could screenshot and link but that is extra effort.

Interesting, although I'm surprised that kind of information has been allowed to be put in the open given it helps Russia to know next time to use multiple missiles

Multiple missiles which they're already rather low on, there's perhaps a reason they only sent one!

Possible as well they are struggling with targeting data to use these kind of missiles on - the emissions from a Patriot battery something a bit easier to locate - there are a lot of reports, not just propaganda, that Russia is still often hitting old sites which haven't been in military use for 30+ years, etc.

Yup like the decommissioned ballistic missiles/fuel that caused a massive explosion recently.
