Suffering privately, yes, that's not the suffering I'm talking about.

Time to hit the Government buildings, anywhere there is an official presence.

I'm not for hitting civillians, just government targets all over Russia.

And yes if their is any workers in the buildings then yes they are collateral damage.

I'm sure it wouldn't take long before they refuse to go to work for fear of being bombed.

Russia isn't suffering anywhere near the scale Ukraine has not even close.

This war needs to be on their doorstep before they step in to stop it.

So you're suggesting we escalate the war in order to bring about peace? Reckon if we kill enough Russian civilians it'll end the war?

Well he didn't say "we", I assume he meant Ukraine.

Ukraine would likely find their goodwill and support drying up almost instantly if they started attacking Russia though, they know better than that.

What's your bright idea?

I don't know but I think any solution should involve less dead civilians, imagine if the UK were in a hypothetical war and someone suggested blowing up an NHS office building so the UK residents really felt the impact of the war, this is basically actually just terrorism.

Who said we blow up the Russian equivalent of the NHS? :S

Is that the only office you could come up with in your retort? No mention of ministry of defence type offices enter your grey matter, at all?

Ok then but the result would still be dead civilians, I'm sure you're not suggesting deliberately targeting civilians. Someone working in an office, say perhaps dealing with payroll for Russian soldiers, would still be a civilian. Ukraine and Russia haven't even formally declared war on each other.

Maybe that person doing payroll for a country terrorising another should find some morals?

No, they don't have access to Twitter

They do. Twitter was originally banned in Russia, but since April this year, some access has been restored. Even when it was fully blocked, access was easy enough via Tor, and accessing Twitter was never illegal.

That aside, I'm keen to hear your thoughts on why Russia is restricting information from outside sources during her invasion of Ukraine. Is this the act of an innocent party?

There is such a thing as objective morality and I think it has no place for rewarding soldiers who raped civilians.

Not in the liberal west - but Russian morality is far different. Look at that phone conversation between a wife and her soldier husband - the Ukraine women are not true women so he can rape them.

They do. Since April this year, Twitter has been restricted in Russia, but not entirely blocked.

I mean, Russia Today is blocked in the UK, so in that sense we are restricting information from Russia just as they are restricting information from the West. My thoughts would be that both sets of governments use propaganda to various extents and wish to limit their citizens exposure to hostile governments propaganda.
