I don't think the F-16's will be its main threat.

What is the deal with the F-16's currently does anyone know as I'm confused as to if they are getting them or not?
Last I understood was the US are training piolets but no word on numbers and when etc.
Couple of quick Google searches have not really helped, guessing now that concrete numbers are probably not out there as yet at least...

I'm not sure either -sounds like there might be some sort of international consortium formed rather than anyone nation delivering large numbers.
The fact Russia are throwing advanced weapons like hypersonic missiles, tanks and potentially now aircraft is giving the west a huge advantage. The west has not sent anything advanced. The newest kit Ukraine are using is from the late 90s (Challenger 2) from what I can see. Most things are originally 70-80s tech.

'Know' is a strong word in war. All I could find is this tweet and I don't really know anything about the Tweeter. I had a quick look at the tweet history and it seems to be planes and defence news. And promotion of a book about Rafales. No obvious bias but feels Western-friendly.

And if the Ukrainians shoot one down, the bidding war amongst the various NATO militaries and arms manufacturers to get first fondle of the wreckage will be epic.
I can see why this might initially seem remarkable, but it isn't. Posts per day is pretty high at ~80ppd since the main activity started around 2 years ago, but going by pure number of views or posts:views ratio, it's not particularly special:

Yes I took that in to account and discarded posts prior to page ~46 from the ppd count, but indeed the thread started in 2014 so views are going to be difficult to get a handle on, reinforcing the point that they're not a great metric.

At the start of the war, Zelensky vowed to wear a beard and military colours until the war was over. I don't think that's theatre, it's a sign of solidarity with his people, and they appreciate it.
Yeah that's theatre to me, he might as well be changing his Facebook profile picture. He isn't a front line soldier, it isn't a sacrifice, it means nothing.
If his people appreciate it then it means something
