Yes it does feel very pre-medicated, sorry I meant pre-meditated. That tea? Perfectly drinkable. Don't mind the colour, it's green tea.

If Russia annex Belarus it extends the front a fair bit as well as giving Russia a bunch more fighting age people and military kit from their stockpiles.

I hope that Belarus don't just sit there and take it though.

Sounds like a premeditated scenario - put troops in country, say will take back country if leader dies. Kill leader (oops) and take country - announce war on Poland by accident because the sat nav pointed the wrong way.

Seriously - sounds like Russia will end up with Belarusian guards defending themselves.. Russia both finding Ukraine hard and attempting to open another front through the north as Ukraine joins NATO and Russia annexes Belarus.

Why am I expecting Belarusian home guard to fight hard against Russian troops.

Just need to claim Ukraine or Poland assassinated Lukashenko.

Huge drone attack against Kyiv tonight - sounds like most were shot down that made their way into the city proper but some maybe hit stuff on the outskirts. At least one building either hit by a drone or debris from a shot down drone.

EDIT: War monitor UA claiming there is a second wave of similar size incoming.

EDIT2: Supposedly a large amount of Iskanders in flight as well but not sure if that is old news reposted or current.

Not necessarily criminals, but definitely drifters. A lot of the current popular online pro Russian supporters popped up out of nowhere and when you dig into their background they have criminals records or were drifters with no jobs or careers prior to spotting an opportunity to both bandwagon and try to attack the western society they feel has wronged them

All over Telegram

Prighozin is getting punished for his little tv interview. The TV station was punished, the hosts lost their job and now there is a new document that makes any mention of Wagner or Prigozhin illegal

"any publications containing references to "PMC Wagner "or Evgeny Prigozhin, from 05.25.2023 will be regarded as discrediting the RF Armed Forces and falling under the validity of Articles 207.3 and 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation."

I do believe Putin is going full meltdown. First lukashenco and now wagner. He seems to be on a FU to the world.

With no wagner, russia looses a resource and so next I suspect Putin will militarise Belarus and march it’s population over the border with ukraine.

Don't Russia have a bunch of troops stationed in Belarus? I'd be surprised if they aren't prepared to sweep in and just start taking over the second Lukashenko is confirmed to have fallen out of a window from the Hospital.
Doubtful it will come to that, Russia will have already selected it's next puppet leader by the time Lukashenko goes. Any protests will get put down by Berkut styles police forces and any troops Russia has in the country.

Russia’s ambassador to the UK has warned of an escalation to the war in Ukraine as Britain and other Western allies commit more weapons to aid President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He said Russia had “enormous resources” and despite the war already raging for over a year, he claimed his country had not yet started to “act very seriously”.

LOL Russia has not yet started to act seriously :cry::cry:

Mobilising hundreds of thousands of young men, losing half your in service tanks and dozens of aircraft, burning through your artillery shells and having to buy ammo overseas to continue, all russian tv talks about 24/7 is this war - yep that's not taking anything seriously at all

When asked to provide evidence or examples of why Russia is not serious about this war, he showed this photo of the latest conscripts - he pointed out how poorly equiped these buffoons were against the mighty Ukrainians and that it showed Russia was saving its best troops and best equipment for when it gets serious

They’re going for a Russian spin-off of Dads Army i see.

I do wonder what the trigger for using these "holding our best in reserve" in action would be

Damaging the Kerch bridge wasn't it, Stalemate for months in Bakhmut wasn't it, firing Ukraine built missiles into Russian to trigger "smoking accidents" wasn't it, Finland joining NATO wasn't it, recent insurgency on Russian soil wasn't it ...

Seem to be more red lines crossed than a Fast & Furious movie.
