Mobilising hundreds of thousands of young men, losing half your in service tanks and dozens of aircraft, burning through your artillery shells and having to buy ammo overseas to continue, all russian tv talks about 24/7 is this war - yep that's not taking anything seriously at all

When asked to provide evidence or examples of why Russia is not serious about this war, he showed this photo of the latest conscripts - he pointed out how poorly equiped these buffoons were against the mighty Ukrainians and that it showed Russia was saving its best troops and best equipment for when it gets serious

Don't tell him your name Pike!

That photo has to be a WW2 re-enactment gig or something. No way that is active troops.
T34 I think is the tank and doesn't look operational by the appearance of the wheels. Mosin-Nagant M1891 rifles is what they are armed with. Yes, we've seen these rifles in use in Ukraine but usually employed as a DMR with a scope. I don't think we've seen any in use by general infantry with irons.

They’re going for a Russian spin-off of Dads Army i see.
Vlad's Army.

Except the spinny Catherine wheel episode results in it rolling back into them and blowing up killing everyone, and every week you have a new cast with the same names and roles And if anyone in the audience questions why they're hauled off and locked up, potentially to appear in a future episode as a guest star (although I guess technically they're all guest stars).

im sure Roar87 will be along soon to tell you thats fake

There's absolutely zero chance that tank is in service. Those wheels are literally just blocks of rust. That's a kid's playground or something.

I'll have to try and find it but there was a recommendation in my YT feed of a tank in that kind of condition being driven out of a shed :s

EDIT: Some of the tanks fielded in the initial invasion by Russia weren't far off that condition either.

Oh I'm sure they're putting it in service, but it's probably been stood in a field for the last 30 years.

The contact points between the tracks and the wheels are completely rusted, there's been no friction there for decades.

It's a military reenactment group photo from 2009 with a Z Photoshopped in.

I'm not saying they are putting it in service or it is in service - but some operational tanks have cropped up in this invasion with similar levels of having rusted in place for decades heh.

Not sure if related to that but some were being penetrated easily by hotter 30/40mm autocannons despite in theory being armoured against that (probably a mixture of that and substandard metals in the first place).

Surely some pressure needs to go on Iran sanctions etc with these drones.

I think the problem is they are also getting ammo from Iran via back channels so having to balance the response :s for some of the Soviet era hardware there aren't many people producing parts and ammo any more and the West for some reason always drags out getting stuff in to replace it.
