Clear out time? Who is going? My money is on the following

Maguire - needs no explanation - £40m
van der Beek - although its hard to flog injured players - £15m
Sabitzer - Injured 3 times in 4 months and never did enough
Weghorst - just gash
Fred - sell while still some value - £25m
Elanga - down the pecking order and nothing special £12m
Bailly - yes he's still on the books - £Free
Telles - yes another one still on the books - £free
Greenwood - too much baggage - £40m but suspect loan
Henderson - Not good enough for United and needs to play - £20m
Williams - Not good enough - £7m
Tuanzebe - Who? as fit as Phil Jones - Free

12 out and potential for 4/5 in. Should raise c£100m which we can waste on one player no doubt.

But he kept Bruno on as captain and signed Antony who are quite possibly the worst at this.
Which is why I’ve said the issue still exists but the manager has made at least some inroads to try and fix it.
That said, Antony tends to lose his cool when the chips are down. That I can forgive, it’s the ‘can’t be bothered’ mindset that costs the team more currently, imo.

I've seen less of the "can't be bothered" but a complete lack of discipline and control when things go against us. That Liverpool game saw Bruno unable to get a grip on things because he couldn't stop playing offensively for 5 minutes just to stay in the game. Tactically he is naive in those circumstances. We also saw Shaw completely lose the plot. His stint at CB should help him because its experience players like him that you need to get a grip in challenging moments. I still think we lack genuine leadership. Varane is an understated player, AWB is never going to ream someone for not doing their job and we are missing Martinez who is arguably the best leader. Let's hope they learned a lot from the Liverpool game.

No chance of anything near that.

Maguire is 30, no one is paying close to 40m for him now.

Most teams are going nowhere near Greenwood and any where he could realistically go aren't going to be paying big wages, meaning Utd have to sacrifice on the transfer fee if they want rid of him.

100% agree, i thought it was comical when i read those figures.

Yes I agree that was optimistic but how much would he go for? England captain still got 3/4 years in him at least as he never had pace to lose which is what normally kill CBs. I mean Spurs paid c£40m for Davison Sanchez!

It's all about the astronomical wages really. If we're getting £40m then we're likely to be paying him off a decent chunk of that to supplement the lower wages he'd get at a team at his level.

Dalot signed a new deal.
I suppose it makes sense. He's decent without being spectacular. Reckon he can still develop and the lad has a half decent attitude.
Dalot did well in Italy, but he looks vulnerable against the faster, skilful wide men. After all the speculation during the season I’d have expected United to buy a top RB

I like Dalot, i think both him a AWB have both come on well this season and i don't think that's a position we're limited in given other more urgent areas.

Agreed there are other positions that are more urgent especially attacking. A striker that can actually score would have made a massive difference to our season this season and we would have finished closer to Arsenal and City.

We don't have the ability to buy 5 top class players so we will have to accept some issues in the team for a few more years. RB isn't an issue in the grand scheme of things right now. We need 2 proper strikers, another CM and perhaps another CB depending on who leaves.

Take it or leave it final offer. Kind of hoping the Glazers don't take it, Jassim buggers off and Ineos start lowballing them now they are the only suitors. ******* Glazers.

I just hope we get some clarity by the end of the week. Bored to tears of it now and just want the Glazers to **** off.

The Glazers are not going to sell now they can see they have actually struck gold with the manager.

Roll on another stupid and desperate transfer window.

I bet my bottom dollar we will overpay for Mason Mount.

And Kane - 1 year left on his contract and I bet United pay £100+ million for him.

Glaziers never going to sell now. Just been wasting everyones time for months.
