Ok, I know they can but in the context of this story, its all just .... adding together.

If it is Qatar, I don't know how I will feel.
thats good then. I am probably being hypocritical from any of my past posts about Qatar, but I want Utd to have his money now. I can't be arsed with the Glazers staying if Jim takes over, even though they wont have a majority share they will still be there.
More then happy last month to be fair.

that thought still stands. I would like his money to be pumped into the club infrastructure, stadium etc. Maybe I should have said, If it is Qatar, and we find out tomorrow morning they are new Utd owners, it would all seem that bit surreal. Like, I am not sure how I would react. relief that the Glazers have gone. Or the fact we now have a chance to compete over the next few years against City, Newcastle (I can see them getting bigger and better).
to add, it will put ETH at ease, knowing what he to work with this summer.

Can the premier league block the deal?

It is too late unless all the other state backed clubs are forced to sell. This is the future of top flight football unfortunately.

For myself it is bittersweet because now we will have owners that will put success of the club at the top of their agenda but at the same time United could quite easily turn into an unstoppable juggernaut. Many rich people have bought football clubs but no one has bought one of the biggest in the world.

Just watching the Champions League now shows how much of a shell it really is. Westham's Europa Conference League final was almost magical to myself as it reminded me of the old times.

I have been trawling the web but can't find any more info. Shares spiked higher half way through the night on the back of that tweet, some sources to the usual, Keegan, Stone etc are keeping "shtum" over this whole thing. So maybe this is it. Maybe we have a new Qatar owner....

The reports from Qatar look pretty speculative to me, and the better sources are just commenting on the share price.

Nothing to suggest a deal is close just yet, but it may be moving in that direction...

that initial tweet was from the new paper half owned by Jasims dad from what I read, but no news on it on the website. Is that a case of breaking news put out on a tweet but needed more clarification before adding to the website?
