Seems a little suss that Mr. Paranoia suddenly had his entire command staff on one plane, going to a place he wasn't needed/wanted.
He probably thought he was safe - Putin had plenty of opportunity to get him, but this way there is some plausbile denability. Mechanical failure, Ukranianian terroists, etc.

The footage of the plane falling doesn't look like a typical plane crash, its plummeting uncontrolled.

I mean if they're trying to sell this as not being shot down. Not many plane failures involve a bang audible from the ground and not many plane crashes are filmed.
exactly. Loads of footage is from dashcams or ring doorbells. Very few people manage to get their phone out in time before a plane hits the ground.
