I'm sure they're will be a large response. We will find out tonight if Russia is running out of missiles, no doubt they will try to hit Kyiv in retaliation

About a Submarine?
I'm thinking about the bigger picture really, the long term strategic ramifications of this war which will persist for decades afterwards and how it'll shape our future, the possibility of a divided world, how future conflicts could arise from this, disappointed in our global leaders inability to find peaceful solutions. You're cheering about a Submarine where as I'm thinking how many soldiers will be dead this week from brutal fighting, murdered in horrific ways that you won't see or hear about. I wish I had your brain then I could just wave my flag and cheer about a Submarine.
You sunk my battleship!
If this is accurate they have a few more subs in the Black Sea.
Yet more Rubles..I'm sure they're will be a large response.
I want that spy ship to meet an accident.. it’s possibly the most dangerous vehicle in Putin’s arsenal. You sunk my battleship!
I don't know but I foresee the quality of the thread rising sharply xD (not aimed at you, just in general at the threads recent devolvement into Twitter spam). Why can't I embed Twitter posts anymore?
While a submarine was ne threat to a country with no navy this will be a massive PR victory for UkraineHearing the Kilo also took a direct hit
Considering they don't have the ability to make them anymore: Priceless. What’s the estimated value of the sub and the ship?
I believe that Sevastopol is within Neptune range from Ukrainian territory. They don't seem to do so well against Storm Shadows/SCALP though there are varying reports as to what missiles were used here - most likely was Storm Shadows though.

In fairness, Russian air defence is upgraded Soviet air defence, and that's the same stuff Ukraine used to hold the entire Russian air force at bay while waiting on western air defences to arrive.People have thought for decades that Russian air defence was some of the best in the world. I am guessing this has put some doubts into that.
I dunno, seen a lot of videos of T-72s rapidly expanding...It seems like it's being pretty effective against Russian expansion right now.
We did, hence why if you look on Youtube you can find a Russian Pizza Hut advert from the 90s featuring Mikhail Gorbachev. Everything was going great until 2000 when Yeltsin was blackmailed into nominating a corrupt politician named Vladimir to be his successor. There was definitely an opportunity for Russia and the West to reconcile after the USSR collapsed
Not normally as they're attack subs (for hunting other subs), but if I remember correctly they are trying to retrofit them to carry up to four Kalibir missiles, I remember it because they are launched via the torpedo tubes which sounded crazy to me lol. That's probably the upgrade the sub was in drydock for.It seems that Russia has been launching all sorts of missiles at Ukraine since the start of the 3 day special operation and although I'm no military hardware geek, doesn't the Kilo class carry missiles?
I would genuinly laugh out loud if they spammed all their S-300s in Air to surface mode because they knew they had loads in storage then went to get them and found a corrupt warehouse operator had sold them to Albania or something, how bad is it that that sounds like both a ridiculously farcical situation and a realistic Russian situation at the same time xDDoesn't matter how good a system it is, if you've used up all your rockets for offensive operations against shopping malls.
In addition, the city of Sevastopol devolved into complete chaos last night resulting in the friendly-fire deaths of local police and military personnel.
