Do you feed the birds?

Haven't got anything set up here yet, garden an ongoing project, but get a small variety sometimes. Sadly lots of seaguls. Funnily enough as i was reading the thread the first lot of geese this year just flew over. Saw my first hedgehog in the garden recently too, not seen one since i was a kid.

Love a hog!

Small flock of greylag geese on the lake in the park today. Usually just Canada geese. So nice to see some greys

in the winter yes, but not till november as at the moment there are plenty of berries and insects for them to eat.

I have a group of these guys currently hanging out in my garden. Siberian nut crackers. They've eaten all the pinecones and now I'm fattening up them on peanuts. They'll be gone soon. Winter is coming. Other than that it's the usual mix of **** and small birds, crows magpies the odd woodpecker.

I feed the birds only in depths of winter. When they can't find grubs, worms etc. We get a few Blackbirds, Robins, Jays, Sparrows etc., others come and go. We would get inundated by pigeons if we fed more.

How much for a personal visit from a siberian nut cracker? Sounds like a paid for service!
