To be fair that's part of the problem, to a lot of westerners that seem pro Russian they aren't real people just some annoying thing in the way of them getting cheap oil and gas
Christ, even Bixby can write a more legible sentence than that.
To be fair

that's part of the problem.

to a lot of Westerners that appear to be pro Russian

they (the Ukrainians) aren't real people

just some annoying "thing" in the way of them getting cheap oil and gas

I don’t think it’s primarily the cheap oil a gas. Putin has tapped into the growing resentment many people in the west have over what they would perceive as a relentless attack on social and cultural conservative values.

They want to be bigots and Putin is pro bigot.

Still falls short of Russia's manufacturing of munitions

Depends a lot on the quality of the munition though I would suspect (although I've no idea on the relative proportions of smart vs dumb shells for the USA or Russia). Guided munitions seem vastly more effective than barrages of unguided munitions, especially now Ukraine seems to be highly effective at counterbattery fire and Russia is on the defensive. No point churning out vast amounts of shells if you either can't fire many due to counterbattery fire or can't hit anything due to worn out artillery.

Earlier in the war when Russia was levelling Bakhmut their doctrine of heavy artillery barrages seemed more effective than now. The constant videos or Russian artillery pieces being hit by HIMARS or Excalibur rounds paint a pretty bleak picture for Russian artillerymen.

You've also got to look at who is on a war footing and who isn't.
The US plus all other NATO countries are most likely manufacturing a lot more ordinance than Russia wholesale but some is being held back for self interests too.
That and what was also mentioned above about accuracy trumping blunderbus type firing.

You are probably right there too. Especially after it turned out we didn't all freeze to death eating our pets last winter.

And one of their big-er successes thus far has been the introduction of the BMPT "Terminator", which is essentially a modern successor to the ZSU-23-4 (which is still in service today with many ex-Soviet states/allies, inc Ukraine).

Just a slight correction here, that would be the Tunguska (SA-19) which is mostly for "air defence" just like the ZSU-23-4 was (air search/tracking radars for guidance etc) but both could also do a bit of little ground warfare in a pinch. On the other side, the BMPT (which also looks similar-ish to the SA-19) is the reverse, being a mostly ground warfare vehicle that could also do a little bit of "air defence" in a pinch (no radars for search/tracking but missiles can be optically guided).

The BMPT's guns are stabilised both vertically and horizontally. Not sure if that dude is making that mistake because he's reacting to a promo video of it doing cool stuff instead of actual combat use, or if he just doesn't understand what he's looking it.

I've watched him for about a year I think and he's been making an increasing number of "technical" mistakes as his subscriber count rises. I think the new larger audience has "forced" him to leave his specific area of expertise (artillery/intel etc) to talk about weapons/tactics with which he has less knowledge, and therefore mostly giving reactions based on videos and internet searches far more now which obviously lowers the accuracy of his own videos. Still better than a lot of traditional media though, despite the errors.

That's because I rendered the fat down to make candles. Tiny, tiny cat candles.
"Ramzan Kadyrov, the Head of the Chechen Republic in Russia, is currently in a coma after his health rapidly deteriorated, according to Ukrainian Intelligence GUR"

Skeptical.
If he was in a German hospital they could check for poisons. I suppose we'll never know. If that report is true, that is.
