Hopefully by the end of 2024 Ukraine will have enough trained pilots they can train themselves.

Some people in this thread want me to have sympathy for that man, I have zero.
Russia's central bank raises its key interest rate by 100 basis points to 13%, jacking up the cost of borrowing for the third consecutive meeting in response to a weak ruble and other persistent inflationary pressures.
The bank also gave hawkish guidance that it would consider further rate increases at upcoming meetings and said inflationary risks remained significant.
"We raised the rate due to the appearance of inflation risks and will keep it at high levels for quite a long time, until we are convinced of the sustainable nature of the inflation slowdown," says the bank's governor, Elvira Nabiullina.
The Bank of Russia forecasts inflation of 6%-7% in 2023, with a decline to the bank's target of 4% in 2024.
The central bank hiked its benchmark interest rate by 3.5 percentage points to 12% at an extraordinary meeting on Aug. 15 as the Russian currency weakened past 100 rubles to the dollar.
Literally wont conscript western russians
Was watching a video from Volgograd recently - less than 1% of those eligible have been mobilised despite its proximity to Ukraine. One of the highest regions for people being mobilised is Krasnoyarsk Krai but despite the impression people get of Russia scraping the barrel they've still not exceeded 10% of those eligible to serve from that region though there are some villages almost emptied out in some places.
The same thing has been going on with their equipment, people see them churning out a lot of the decrepit stuff first as desperation, which there is some element of, but a lot of it is just how Russia does stuff.
They are, unfortunately, a long way from out with this war and still have far too much potential to grow into it - as hinted at with the recent post about their tank and ammo production levels.
I was expecting it to be something related to oligarchs, I was disappointedWho else had to look up "oligophrenic"![]()
I think you really underestimate the effect Russia's loses have. The UK lost 0.75% of its population in WW2, enough to finish off the empire. Was watching a video from Volgograd recently - less than 1% of those eligible have been mobilised despite its proximity to Ukraine.
