That is honestly such a travesty for the sport.
Imagine the shake up the HW would get with Francis going straight into title talk.
Rather than this circus of 4 fighters refusing to fight each other.

The travesty for the sport is the fact that these matches are being made ahead of the fights that everyone wants to see. Ngannou did not do enough to win that fight. He barely landed a jab the whole fight but countered quite effectively. The knockdown gave him a 10-8 round but I can't think of many he won clearly after that. I gave him the 1st , 4th and a share of the 10th. You could maybe make an argument for another shared round but I can't see how a seasoned judge can give it for Ngannou.
Anyway, fair play to Francis as it was an incredibly impressive debut. Congrats for a great effort.

Ngannou was better overall but that's not always how boxing works. Fury won more rounds. Not sure why people are saying rigged. It was very close but Fury probably edged enough rounds.
