You need it for camos though, you literally have to use it if you want them.

Good news on EOD though, I'll run Ghost until it's sorted.
 
Unlock mechanism via these stupid daily challenges is making me not want to play. I can’t play long enough on any
given day to tick all the challenges off……….

Just spent 2 maps running round with a shotgun on wide open maps trying to kill people I can’t get within 50 metres of before being gunned down. Oh and when I do get close enough the only shotgun available often isn’t a 1 shot kill and has such a slow reload I get gunned down before I can take a 2nd shot. Sigh.

Honestly whoever came up with this unlock mechanism needs some bamboo torture.

Even damn Semtex is now a daily challenge unlock.

Like I said, it’s the worst CoD in recent memory.

Yeah, I swap between tactical mask (cannot stand being stunned) and ghost if I'm against a good team.

And good point about the camos, I'm not overly fussed by them so hadn't really considered it.

Just unlock them from Zombies. I go into Zombies, grab the stuff I want (Semtex, Rival SMG) then extract and you have it all unlocked!

So then just do it via challenges then?? Don't get me wrong, I don't think the unlock route is the best at all but it's pretty easy to get the perks/attachments etc. that you want.

Just do the challenges - then after you've done the challenges just win games to get your unlocks done.

Not when you only have 30-45 mins or so to play on any given day.

It’s just **** poor design to force base weapon / lethal / tactical unlocks on challenges rather than time served / levelling up. I can’t get all the unlocks done in one sitting and the next day they all reset.

Taken me 3 days just to complete 3 challenges to unlock just 1 weapon and only then because I’ve played for 90 mins in one sitting when I should actually be doing other things. Some unlocks require 5 challenges!

If you can't get kills with the Shotty on COD maps I'd agree it's probably time to give up mate.

EOD is barely worth it nowadays, it doesn't even save you from claymores.

Launchers take far too long to reload.

And the biggest annoyance, which is always the same, is the absolute braindead retards who play it. The amount of times I lose matches of dom because of dumb ***** on my team not capping flags is ridiculous. They also refuse to shoot down any UAVs and in many cases would rather go for that stupid mosquito than have a UAV which would benefit... you know... the whole ******* team.

If I could make one change to this game it'd be that players who don't play objectives in objective modes are banned for 24h. I can stand losing to a fair fight but losing because Jonny is sat in a corner with a shotgun so he can get his mosquito does my head in. Or because of XxXSniPezZZ who's got 47 kills and zero caps.

Cod players are ******* retards, I really hope they're not this thick in real life because they'll be spending the rest of their lives wondering why they're the only ones without shoelaces.

This MW3 is sooooooo much better the MW2
Loving the old maps
Only hate is the kill streaks they are **** poor , not sure why the Chopper Gunner is soooooooo hard to get , not even seen it yet
Bring back the Pave Low
 
Sigh. Defeat after defeat after defeat. Literally 1-3 points in it every damn time.

Oh well need to turn it off now and next time I’ll have to start all over again with the daily challenges. Such hard work to get even simple things unlocked.

Yeah, yeah, I know I’m like a broken record. Doesn’t make me wrong though :)
 
I just wish they took away all the gun modification stuff...I don't want to lose a gunfight because I do not have the patience to tweak a gun in a video game :cry:

Capping B is 500xp, that's almost an instant level up on any weapon, I am flying through my weapon ranks by PTFO.

Because most just play all modes like team death match.

I absolutely suck at this game, I've not played much multiplayer since the first Black Ops game. Changed a bit! For a start, everyone looks super cool with like purple guns and stuff while I am just the standard soldier grunt. On the rare occasions I get the drop on someone feel like I empty a clip on them but would likely cause more damage if I threw my gun at them :D . Some of the stuff you lot are talking about I have no idea about. Tactical stances and all that, I'm just happy if I actually see someone before they kill me.
I got 8 kills in a full game of War last night. Second lowest on my team got 38. I don't much care as its fun to jump into now and then but even if my reactions and skills were better I am so far behind everyone else I am never going to compete.

I did enjoy Zombies though, again not a clue what I am doing but had a helpful vet on my team and got through the first mission. I like how other teams come and go in it. Doing their own thing. Not really seen that in game before. I suppose Division has a version but its not as seamless as that.
Quite like it overall. Eventually downloaded both campaign packs as DLC. :rolleyes: 12 & 14 gig each. Might get some time on that this weekend.
 
Anyone fancy grinding the T3 area on Zombies for schematics? It's doable solo, to a point, but its rough going.
