Wouldn't renting a massive car be a lot cheaper than spending 50k on one to go on 2 road trips trips with friends?

I was tempted to mention the Vellfire but I don't think it is the look Housey is going for for daily driving.

surely the vellfire is for being driven around in, mostly between the airport and office, isn't it?
I've heard he'll be doing airport transfers too, so that works out perfectly.

Was going to say before your edit - would be surprised if a Panamera which was reasonably new was within budget. 2016 isn't too bad I guess.

Hadn't really thought about the Panamera but it's a good shout. It's decent all round room for 4 that is important, so has to be bigger than a 5 series which sufficed but was a touch tight with 4 up for 3 days of road travel when built like my mates.
Newer ones with the smaller engine are available but surely they're not in the same league as an S class when it comes to rear leg room and comfort?
