Well, we didn't see this one coming! Known for their legendary gaming mice and gaming surfaces, Endgame Gear has knocked it out of the park with an awesome Hall Effect 65% Gaming Keyboard.

With an all-black finish, RGB lighting, 65% form factor, and Gateron KS-37B switches, the Endgame Gear KB65HE might just be our new bae .

Hall Effect Technology

The tech so good it snuck its way into the name. Unlike traditional mechanical switches you’ll find on any run-of-the-mill gaming keyboard, Hall Effect switches utilise a magnetic dual-rail structure. This provides you with an ultra-smooth, action and swift rebound. Essentially, keystrokes are registered through a magnetic field sensor, allowing for improved accuracy, among other features. Cool right?

Notably, this technology allows you to customise the Endgame Gear KB65HE Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard’s actuation distance between 0.1mm and 4mm.

A few times I've been around that track
So it's not just gonna happen like that
'Cause I ain't no Hall Effect girl
I ain't no Hall Effect girl

RGB – Premium Build Quality – Rapid Trigger Tech

This awesome sauce doesn't stop with the hall effect either. The Endgame Gear KB65HE is kitted out with Rapid Trigger Technology (try saying that ten times fast). RTT does pretty much what it says on the tin; you’ll benefit from lightning-fast response times and super-high precision.

Did somebody say RGB !!! *slaps roof of Endgame Gear KB65HE* “This bad boi can fit so many colours in it”

Per key lighting, key bindings, and more are all customisable in the pretty awesome KB65HE Configuration Software. While we’re still on the topic of pretty things, overall, Endgame Gear has come out swinging with this keyboard. It’s hitting all the right notes, and damn we’re here for it.

All of the KB65HE sexiness is confined to a stylish block of CNC machined aluminium with rounded corners and a silicon grip on the bottom. What’s more, not one but two sets of feet are included, allowing you to choose the perfect angle.

Ready To Game?

If dominating the competition is on your 2024 goal list, then you won’t want to miss out on this bad boi. You can check out all the deets over on the overclockers uk blog.

£139 for hardly any keys.... i assume there is a sticker on the box that says not compatible with Arma 3

£139? The keyboard I use cost about £1.50 or might been free I don't know and works pretty well, not sure how spending £139 on this "bad boi" is going to make "dominate the competition".

If you ignore the marketing nonsense and put it into the perspective of the £400+ you can spend on the really high end fancy enthusiast keybaords you can get these days, the £140 mark doesn't look so bad... Especially when you considerr how long a keyboard lasts!

Why don't they make these in white? as every time I see a new keyboard with ISO layout it's black
i wonder is it because the market for those prepared to spend 140 odd quid on a keyboard is relatively small and the market for those wanting a white one even smaller so not worth it for the manufacturer, maybe? just guessing but i'd have thought that to be the case.

omg, i just got this board, installed software, says there's a firmware update, so let it do it, now I'm left with 3 light effects instead of the probably 12 that was on there, what's going on?

I believe the latest firmware added socd and low latency, but it seems they had to remove most of the RGB setting, which isn't great.

Shame as it looks like a good keyboard, can you still set the lighting per key and create macro's?

I bought a B-Grade one, used it for 2-3 hours and it is really nice, I then changed the RGB and it crashed and bricked itself by the looks of it. I joined their Discord and the first thing I see is a bloke with the exact same issue.

I'd say no you can't change per key RGB from my very limited experience, you can do Macro's though. @topher

I was an endgame gear fan but stuff like this is why I'm thinking of looking elsewhere like how do you mess that up. Every day if you look at their discord server, someone has a problem with the 8k mouse cable constantly disconnecting.

I could look past poor quality control but the malware fiasco was the last straw. They still haven't really done anything about it and it's still a mystery how they let it happen.

I got some files from a guy on discord and it fixed one keyboard, apparently they removed rgb effects from the last firmware so changing it bricks the keyboard….not great.
Anyway I’m using it again and it really is a nice board, hopefully with the new firmware it will be the end of that issue.
