*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

i made going to the gym part of life, just as much as sleeping and eating, rather than something ill just try to " fit in " some time during the week. im glad last year got 2/3 of my fat of , even tho at times i was dropping more than i should have on a weekly basis. the last 1/3 im happy to loose at 1lb or even 0.8lb a week now for a few months. dont aim to be ripped, that in its self will be a never ending thing to keep up, ill be happy with a normal fat amount what ever normal is lol
This is it, the gym/exercise/even just going for a walk around the block is now in a similar vein to having a shower rather than a nice to do.

I defrost some frozen fruit (mainly blueberries or cherries) and have it in porridge and greek yoghurt. Also, the dark chocolate as above, although I do 85% but that's a rabbit hole I try to avoid too often.

What do you guys do in particular when you are craving sweet stuff but you don't want or need to pig out on chocolate kinda stuff please?

I have porridge for breakfast every morning, and amongst other things, I add half a tablespoon of jam conserve, plus a few pieces of frozen fruit (mango is my favourite), and that does me for the day.

Has anyone here tried using a blood glucose monitor, and if so, what does a decent/accurate one cost? My interest for getting one is purely curiosity, as I am interested to see how much certain foods affect my blood sugar. Ta.

Is that half fat though? Think I'd feel too cheated!

I've just discovered dark ginger chocolate but don't currently have any.

It's amazing though and you do feel semi healthy ish!

It’s advertised as low fat and contains inulin which helps regulate blood sugars. The bottom line is that it tastes really nice and is very low calorie for what it is. An absolute winner in my books.

Have to be honest though that I'm not really a fan of ice cream unless it's that really fake squishy stuff. But if it tastes really nice and is low calorie, I'll definitely give it a whirl. :)
