Lol if you bothered to delve below the surface for two seconds you would understand that he’s not interested in a true peace. Not one that benefits the west.
Comedy aside, static air defence coverage was never really that big of a priority for Russia/USSR aside from downing spy planes as they are/were so big that it would have been impossible to protect their nation properly with them. Instead they turned that weakness into an advantage by building masses of powerful interceptors and radars because if your country is so empty that the enemy has to cross your border and then travel at least three Scotland's to find anything of importance you will have lots of time to intercept them.
Of course this pretty much doesn't work against drones (or stealth jets) that don't show up on your radar lol.

Don't know how true it is, but apparently 900+ Russian soldiers are being 'destroyed' on a daily basis. That's basically a battalion or two per day if true.

How much troops they got in total? At 900 loss a day when will they run out?

Hard to work out because they keep mobilising more. More importantly is the point when the population rise up against constantly having their men sent to the grinder, which appears to be getting closer.

It's only really 365,000 dead in a year, Russia has millions of men to throw at it
And unfortunately those who are sent are poor and thrown in from abroad so no voice.
Putin did learn from the Soviet Afghanistan problem
About 40 years on paper including mobilising all fit to serve - less in reality as their combat effectiveness, industry and society would collapse long before.

Mobilising for war damages economies, that much is well known, and what is also known is that you cannot mobilise your full population. You always need a certain number of people working productive private jobs so they can pay taxes, and taxes pay for the war. The maximum number of conscripts you can have is proportional to still having enough workers paying taxes at a level where those taxes cover all costs of the war, all costs of running the government and public services and all costs of feeding the population. If incoming tax can no longer pay for all these items then the economy collapses and the people revolt and you have a revolution

Trump doesn't give a #### about the Ukrainians. He proved that beyond any doubt when he held back aid to Ukraine in order to force President Zelensky to dig up some dirt on Hunter Biden for him to use against his father in the presidential election.
Trump would end the fighting by withdrawing all support from the Ukrainian government so that they would be unable to continue effectively resisting Russia. He would force them to agree to allow Putin to keep the areas of Ukraine he has taken in exchange for peace. (Putin would probably go along with this because it would allow him to hold the territory he has taken, rebuild/improve his armed forces and try to normalise trade relations with the West.) Putin would paint peace in the current circumstances as a victory for Russia and use it to prepare for a renewed offensive against Ukraine in a few years time when he would seek to take the whole country.
After he has taken Ukraine he would find it very easy to take neutral Moldova and once he has got away with that it would be tempting to have a crack at the Suwalki Gap to link up Belarus and Kaliningrad. The latter action would begin a conflict with NATO which could rapidly escalate into World War 3.
The best way to prevent such a conflict is to arm Ukraine to the teeth so they can halt Russia in the east of their country and at least hold them back for the foreseeable future (even if they cannot retake the Russian occupied territories, which would be very hard without air superiority). By weakening Russia's armed forces, keeping them tied up in Ukraine and preventing Putin from being able to declare victory there they will also be preventing Russian aggression in the next few years in other areas of Eastern Europe.
Putin's behaviour is similar to that of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s. When we appeased Hitler and failed to deal with him during that period we allowed the full horror of World War 2 to materialise. If we had removed Hitler early on when he first broke the Treaty of Versailles then the Nazi threat could have been eliminated with far less bloodshed.
Trump has repeatedly proved himself to be the least competent person on the planet when it comes to international politics. So no, we should not happily let him have a go. It's a job too serious to leave to that mental midget.
