these 3D printed saddles good for indoor zwifting ? I've got ISM's on my road bikes and have been fine but when I'm on the indoor trainer, which also has a ISM, my rear lasts about 40 minutes before it starts to hurt.
I’ve not used mine outdoors yet so it’s purely been on the turbo for Zwift and I really like it. A friend also bought one and is impressed with it
They’re supposed to be better out on the road as they reduce vibrations
Now I'm starting to do the odd 40min session, I need to grab the Selle SMP Extra off my road bike and put it on the turbo hybrid. Bought it Xmas '21 for ~£36 from Amazon and it allowed me back then to turbo for ~2 hours at a time before my backside was in the same agony as my previous saddle.these 3D printed saddles good for indoor zwifting ? I have no problem shiting Di2 in lobsters and they're definitely the warmest type of glove I've used.I have di2 shifters so I don't think lobster gloves would be ideal
Suppose it’s a bit late but for £45 it’s a decent punt
You guys are aware that a genuine Specialized Power isn't much more money (yes that's the MTB but not much between them)...? Admittedly not the 'mirror' variant (that's more like another +£200) but still. I'd prefer to generally spend my money on a genuine product rather than a possibly dangerous knock off. I know it's a saddle, but anything goes wrong outdoors (unless you're WVA) you end up injured/on the tarmac! For the last few days i was wondering why it was showing so expensive as it was £64, however just realised it's in Euros which is actually closer to about £53
Don't know those pedals, are they single sided spd's and the eh500 are double? I have a couple of sets of ED500's (or the earlier model) on the shelf. Always liked them and although nearly always ridden cleats a few times rode them with flats no issue. Liked double sided for commuting and the platform being big enough to pedal in traffic without clipping in. I even do that fairly regularly now in road cleats... But far more tricky. The times I've tried to ride flats with my road cleats (Keo's) always end up getting smacked in the shin so have learnt to avoid it!Bought Castelli estremo gloves, as my previous SealSkinz weren't cutting it in the winter.
I wouldn't say these were much better, with my fingers being extremely painful on my morning commute yesterday. Strava states it was -4c.
I have di2 shifters so I don't think lobster gloves would be ideal, so perhaps I can try liners next.
I've also been trying some Shimano es600 pedals and found them to be fairly annoying whilst commuting, as they often don't land the right side up, will switch back to eh500 on my winter bike.

And I'm a genuine Specialized Power rider, owning 3 of them (2 of which cost less than your Aliexpress knock off)!

As for gloves, I would say try some liners in the Estremo and see how you go. Or those little heat pack things, people seem to love them in their shoes too. Not many gloves better than the Estremo, I've got the Sportful equivalent (Sotto Zero) and they're good down to around -8. Much lower than that windchill can feel them unable to cope. But they're also useless in the rain as they're not waterproof and get sodden easily, so I only ride them in the really cold. I know the Estremo are better! I know lots here like lobsters so would probably say go that route, if anything the Di2 makes it even easier than mechanical... Aldi did some well regarded comparable ones, I probably wouldn't go the Rapha route unless you really need them for more than a few weeks every year. So maybe get something extra and sized to be prepared to wear another glove under them - which will probably get the layers you need. I know lots of riders with Spatz, but none with the THRMOZ (like a lobster), only the GLOVZ and they feel loads thinner and less insulated than my Sportful. For the price of the THRMOZ I'd probably give them a go before I went the Rapha/Estremo route... But then I know Spatz do good sales so I'd be buying them out of season to (hopefully) save a lump from their £80 price buying them in the spring.
I know @SoliD has been through lots of gloves, so a search back from posts from him (or me tagging him in any winter glove question - here's another mate!) should get you some real world feedback on what things he's used and found works.
