It only gets worse as the game progresses. The best part by a mile is the first 2 hours of the game ; the story & pacing goes steadily downhill from that point onward. Even the Eikon battles, which are cinematic and spectacular the first time you witness them, become tedious later on due to their repetitive nature, being increasingly drawn out ( kill the boss 4 x to finish ) and too many QTE/hands off elements.
As you can tell, I don't like the game lol.
 
Hows everyone getting on in Tekken 8? I was stuck at Warrior rank for a few days, then kept going between Warrior and Assailant and then last night managed to finally reach Dominator. It's hard work in ranked!
 
Those with the ps5 slim, is it worth getting the vertical stand? just wondering if you have tried horizontal and vertical and what looks better.

I will be getting the ps5 slim digital edition soon.

Didn’t bother with the stand on my digi slim. Stands up fine. Did knock it over the other day tho. So be careful.

I’m still enjoying it though I am however some what lost as to what’s going on at times as it jumps around time and time again with pacing even all over for that

I had same experience with FF16 as I did AC Valhalla, it got that boring I just wanted it to end and cause I felt like I was so close to finishing it I forced myself to play which arguably made it worse

Only in Red ranks with the chars I've tried so far but that's on PC, I've only played on PS5 once so far.

Too much stuff to test and too many changes on the characters but I'll get back to ranked properly. Reached Garyu the day after release with Azu but I played her in the beta so I more or less know her, got one of my chars close to Tenryu a few days ago and haven't played ranked since. Maybe today.

I'll rerun this on PS5 as well at some point.

There are lots, without trying to sound condescending, have you tried Googling the list? I imagine someone has compiled them somewhere, seems quite a few ones are coming this year as well.

The FF7 remake part 2 (Rebirth) coming out at the end of this month is one of them, but there are plenty of others. They usually get to the PC eventually, but you're probably looking at a 2-3 year wait.

No good exclusives really on the Xbox, which is why if you have a good PC, that and a PS5 and/or Switch is the better combo imo.

Nope you are correct, I did have the original disc version, sold it a few months back. I was missing it so got the slim, although there are not many new games I want to play yet, I like playing some of the older exclusives, and would like to finish God of War that I never got round to completing.
 
So played some Helldivers 2 last night. About 11pm local time, Friday night, day after release. Felt like I was the only person in the galaxy. Couldn't find a game or instance with a single person in it for about 3 hours. I was on an active planet although playing on easy. Same thing happens to me when I try BF2042 - can't even find a single populated lobby.
I play MW3 quite a bit and have no problem there, same with GTA online - always find a lobby with lots of players in. All these are on PS5.

My internet isn't the best I'm waiting on a sparky coming to put some conduits in so I can go fiber but its not bad, never have an issue with playing the Xbox online or streaming anything form Netflix and the like and that time of night demand surely isn't massively high. Any ideas? Could it be something to do with where the game is hosted? Do COD and GTA have dedicated servers?

Helldivers match making has been mostly broken since launch, they patched it this morning and it should work now.
