Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

To replace my Rift S.
I was watching reviews myself today. It's funny, the overpriced Apple version got me interested more than I have been before.

The main reason I paused is because I don't game much. I wondered how much they can be used for day-to-day stuff and watching Plex or Netflix.

One of those 2..tried them on.. Can't decide which are better!

Both get good reviews. The ax4 seem super firm at the top vs the hoka. But I've never worn anything with ankle support so not sure!

This is all for my Norway trip

I'm still bumbling along happy with the Quest 2 but will check these in case I'm missing something.

I want to upgrade but I have a pair of prescription lenses which is another £100 on top, again.

I believe the pass through is so much better this time round (full colour) besides the faster processor and graphic.

That does add too much on top of the price imo.

One to keep an eye, or two on then perhaps.

I've just discovered that my Ugreen bluetooth 5.3 dongle from AliExpress is in actual fact a bluetooth 4.0 dongle, as the LMP firmware is v6.8891. No wonder it wasn't that good.
ALi Express, there's a reason why some things are too cheap to be true there :p

If they're off Amazon and BT 5.3, then the LMP should read 12 as it's the Realtek dual-mode BT SoC onboard. I think most of these adapters in this price will be using the exact same chip so Windows will use the same driver and report the same firmware.

New bluetooth adapter, this time with BT 5.3 support. For a tenner wasn't expecting huge range etc but really, it manages to maintain a stable connection whilst listening to a podcast on the PC upstairs and I'm all the way downstairs between one floor and 4 walls approx 20-25 metres away, without the need for a dongle with a big aerial, and that is on just some TWS buds. Most impressive.

Best of all, unlike the user reviews of most of the other ones that supposedly don't work on Windows 11 at BT 5.3, this is detected as a Realtek chip and Windows auto installs the Realtek 2023 driver accordingly, the firmware class profile is in device manager LMP 12 which is BT 5.3.
I didn’t realise windows 11 had such wholesale problems with Bluetooth. My work laptop can’t cope with my senheisser momentum 2.0s, but after I got a BTD600 dongle they’re rock solid.

white - though, is that camouflage against snow - I usually want some neon colours so rescue services could spot me.
if there are any scree type descents then you can ride the wave more safely with ankle support.
