So I got thinking about how I have my bacon butties.

My choice is no butter, but brown sauce. Sometimes I may add grated chese, sometimes I don't.

The whole butter debate is an age old question, do you put butter on a bacon sarnie?
 
If a mix of melted butter and bacon grease isn't dripping down the double chin then it's a failure of a a bacon buttie.
 
Butter and brown sauce for either bacon or sausage sarnie or even a sausage AND bacon - nom.

Had a bad experience with a young lady and tomato ketchup, put me off for life, even the smell makes me gag! (of ketchup, not women).

The idea of butter on an already greasy sarnie makes my skin crawl personally.

The 'butter on' crowd belong to the same folk that put sauce on a bacon and egg sandwich. Disgraceful.
 
Butter with bacon in a nice crusty roll. Ketchup no butter in a sandwich (or + egg with no butter/ketchup)
