Seems like an essential purchase for users with PRIME TX, PRIME PX, VERTEX GX, PX, GX White and Sakura, FOCUS GX and GX White ATX 3.0 PSU's

Will purchase one of these cables myself when OCUK get them in stock.

They should be upgrading existing owners of their ATX 3.0 psu's for free.
Well, you say that but weren't the ATX 3.0 buyers all volunteer beta tester?!

(Even those who didn't realise they were, but on behalf of "I only ever buy tech when it is not longer leading edge" buyers I would like to say: thank you all very much!)

I wonder if these will compatible to other brands that use seasonic as OEM. Would like to have the angled connector for my phanteks revolt pro

Has anyone seen anything or anywhere you can purchase this cable from yet? They announced it what seems like months ago and yet I can't find it anywhere, Even when you email them you can't get a straight answer as to where it can be bought.

From what I read, available "before the end of Q2 2024". If you look on their website for a list of resellers, it includes OCUK. Maybe we might be able to get an answer from OCUK as to when they are/if they are expecting any?

I did look at the resellers on their website, I think it's just a standard thing Seasonic do I don't think they ever change that on their website.

It's rather odd for such a simple thing like a cable that they have already designed and manufactured weeks ago takes so long to get to market, Weird indeed.

Once we get this updated cable will there be any difference with a 3.1 psu?

It's quite annoying having spent £500 on a psu for it to be potentially outdated after such a short time, or is it literally just the cable? If it is I can deal with spending 30 odd quid on a cable.

the major change is the cable
there are minor changes in the spec as well which are downgrades...so paradoxically, an atx 3.1 compliant psu might not actually be atx 3.0 compliant
in other words, an atx 3.0 compliant psu may potentially be better than an atx 3.1 psu

i remember looking at this in march, is the 90 bend not in the wrong direction for most ppl/GPU
i have 4080 and i think it makes the cable point up but i have psu in bottom of case :(

Does this mean seasonic will be doing it?

Never sure what to make of this brand. Folks used to say they have quality psus but wasn't this the brand that could not cope with transient spikes under the atx2 guise where others like corsair could?
