Social media and relentless 24-hour news reporting has more than doubled in that time so it feels a lot worse. (110 murders per year is still bad, obv.)

BUt I thought according to Gammon Boomer News that London was a no go area because of the immigrants.

I'm no fan of American gun culture but I really wouldn't want to be facing a lunatic with a sword armed only with a taser. Brave lady.

Surprised the taser worked with him wearing a hoodie and presumably at least one more layer underneath.
He was tasered 3 times, one of them had to have worked.

That graph is pretty useless. Why not plot actual homicides numbers rather than have it diluted by population growth.
