A good qualifying, but he's done next to nothing in that car for nearly a year.Danny Ric might have a few words for Villeneuve.
Well, if it does rain during the race, I think the whole thing will be mayhem.
Very much looking forward to it.

His words should probably be "yeah, spot on".
Maybe this will be the start of some sort of fairytale turnaround, but what are the chances of that?
Something to think about. George and Lewis were matching each other in Q3, S1 and S2. In S3 George got a great slipstream from Albon which put him .280 ahead. Neither improved on the second runs. So technically minus the tow from Albon, George would have qualified 6th ahead of Lewis. The Mercs IMO are still not on RBR level. Wet or dry Max will gobble George up pretty quickly.
Quickly rewards Red Bulls faith in him by getting knocked out in Q1 - I thought he'd be lucky to get a 1 year deal, don't know what they were thinking with the 2 years.Wtf is Perez doing though. It's a joke he has that seat.

I was out at the cinema, sounds like I missed some action!
I agree with the above, if Russell got a tow then realistically he’s over performing slightly. I guess the McLarens are the only ones that may be able to challenge Max if it’s a dry race.
What the heck happened to Ferrari?

They weren't that great on pace anyway, struggling to manage tyre temperature, but the real bungle was putting them both on used tyres for the second run in Q2 when the track was fastest. Leclerc apparently had a brake sensor issue too but I don't think that changed much.
Vasseur said they didn't have any new softs to go out on in Q2
