I think we played almost the perfect match... from Southgates perspective. We expended the most energy defending and barely gave away anything. Entertainment and attacking threat? Couldn't care less. Palmer or Gordon could have been given MotM and I wouldn't complain honestly.

Another crap game. No pace or movement. As Gary said, basic basic football. I simply cannot believe these players are this conservative outside of it being their instructions. Every damn time there was a 60:40 choice to play it safe or progress the ball basically every player played it safe. Unsurprisingly, as soon as Palmer and Gordon came on we had them a little panicked. A little flustered.
