On reflection, the only part of that game I liked was the ref not getting involved with every single corner - just let them get on with it for once.

Because you enjoy seeing Richarlison getting a whack? Me too.

It wasn't an elbow though. He's stuck his arm across him to stop him getting past.
I know its part and parcel of the game but even so, that was some extreme play acting with all that rolling around - Jesus

If anyone is deserving of it’s richarlison, tried to end our players careers on occasion and mocked VVD injury from Pickford
Only thing he did wrong was not hitting him harder

If I’m honest we’re going to get smashed off probably the best team in Europe currently, but I will still be there no matter what.

Nah, you'll be fine. Liverpool ain't all that and a bag of potato chips. You have a solid defence and a hard working midfield. You will be fine. Should be a good game.

I think a lot could depend on how we're doing in the League and CL. We've got a massive month ahead with Everton away, Villa away, City away and then Newcastle at home as 4 of our next 5 League games. If we come through this month with a comfortable lead at the top of the table then we're probably not resting anybody in the final however if the gap shrinks and there's the odd player with an injury, you might see us play a bit of a mixed strength side. We also play the 2nd leg of our CL tie the midweek before the final - that could be a tricky game against PSG, which will take priority over the final.

I just want us to give a good account of ourselves, we froze against manu 2 years ago and the game was pretty much 1 sided, Liverpool are used to the big occasions(I know some fans don’t see the league cup as a big occasion) where as we aren’t, so all I hope is we don’t freeze again

Due to the seeding I didn’t think you could play PSG, as they were the highest ranked out for the 4 teams that you and Barcelona could play and you are seeded higher than Barca

We'll play one of the winners of Brest - PSG and Monaco - Benfica. Assuming PSG will win, we've basically got a 50/50 chance of getting them in the last 16.
I didn’t know it was another draw, I thought it had went to the NFL style seeding meaning you your play the lowest ranked out of the 2 left.

The one thing I find bizarre with Spurs' is that surely they have some 17/18/19 yr old kids coming through who play CB or full back? Archie Gray was a poor right back for Leeds, in the Championship, he got away with it most weeks but put him against anyone remotely quick and he was screwed, so why put him there against Liverpool?
In fact why put him in defence at all, stick an experienced CM there. He's good on the ball, composed for his age but doesn't have the physical attributes to be a defender.
Youth setups nowadays are either poor or just not trusted. I remember when Liverpool scraped 4th and they had their defensive injury crisis, they had them two clowns at centre back, they got by, they are both playing their trade in the Champ and lower nowadays, trust the kids ;)
