Make the FE unobtainable for RRP and charge £1500 for a AIB 080 class card
get forced to make a product they didn't want to make in the case of a 5070ti with 16gb vram.
no 5070ti FE and the street price for an AIB card ends up being a grand.
People moan about AMD charging 799.

That is almost some of the cheapest 5080 pricing, hopefully it is a place holder price only.

True, but it's still going to be there or thereabouts with 80FE as there will only be about 50 to sell in the UK for 2 months after launch.

For sure, anyone who got the 7900XTX at a reasonable price recently will be laughing. Prices are skyrocketing.
You win some you lose some.I'm starting to feel like I picked the worst possible time to build a new PC
I picked the best possible time last year with respect to CPUs, got my 7800X3D for ~£330 from OCUK before X3D CPU prices skyrocketed.
But worst possible time with respect to GPUs, hence I never bought one. Though technically it's been a terrible time for GPUs for a while...

A crisp fiver for the 9070 and 27000 for the 9070xt, with the intention of fooling the people who don't follow the reviews into thinking the xt is 10 times better than the 5090 as its 10 times more expensive, while also winning over the press with the unbelievable value of the 9070
Well that’s me screwed then. I’ve only got normal fivers.
Won't gain marketshare like that unfortunately.
