Pugs New Cinema Build (Double Garage Conversion)

what size is the projector screen? Any temptation to replace the setup with an ENORMOUS OLED TV now the technology has developed?

setup looks awesome by the way, would be cool to have some updated dark shots with ambient light etc!

and yes, the little alcove with the terminator arm is extremely cool.

Projector is screen is 120" so 10ft... and yeah, weirdly I was talking abut this and a possible upgrade in next year or two to the projector then was thinking if the TV screens increase to 120" then I'll literally take the PJ down and replace with a permie TV, gonna get physically a better picture, brighter, better blacks etc and with TV's getting bigger yep... the time will come I think as the tech is really coming on. I run a 86" in the living room... miniLED QNED and it's been great so... watch this space...

Yeah will try and get some nighttime shots with something showing as well.... cheers man appreciated. Everyone is usually blwon away saying it's literally a cinema room... they kinda think I just have surround sound and a big tv... I was in there last night listening/watching Hans Zimmer in Atmos... was astonishing the sound... so few upgrades I think in the coming 24 months... possibly in the subs... been meaning to look at upgrading the sub for a while and never get around to it... so, 2025 will start taking a serious looksy!

Awesome room. mines just setup in my living room, although my gear is av pre power 9.4.4 system

Now you have to get saving for a Perlisten 9.4.4 system haha ;-) tbh kinda shame for such a nice room you have budget system, but you have a good basis to start from

New addition...

Dual PB 2000 could be better long term. ;-) nice to have headroom although I wouldn't go nuts, I probably went a bit overboard but hey I got a pay out and saw a bargain so why not.

There's Tonewinner subs although no reports about them

My subs are similar to the 15" models, but a step up from those with more power and heavier duty driver.
