Yeah, it has to be placeholder, considering the number of times I've seen $500-600 being mentioned as rumored prices, probably won't end up being this, but it would be nice if it's anywhere close to that.
Not really looking to update anytime soon though, my RTX 4070 is gonna last for another 2 years at least, unless I run into another major Nvidia issue on Linux and I get annoyed enough to switch sides but it's been a while since that happened haha.

Funnily enough Linux is reason I'm considering changing my 4080
Yeah not loving that as a leaked price but taking it for what it is (presumably a breach of terms with AMD) there may be some 'hazard pay' factored in.
Equally the theory a few weeks back that the launch was pulled based on original pricing being too high could still be at play. Could be the original price and there's been work behind the scenes since to get it down...
I'm not optimistic but there's not long to go now to find out.

If it's £850 I won't be buying
Yeah, looks like the 9070xt will mostly perform somewhere between the 7900xt and 7900xtx. If amd price it between the 650ish the 7900xt has been most of last year and the 850ish that you could find the 7900 xtx then they will be making the same poopy mistake that nvidia has in giving us basically zero gen on gen price to performance uplift 
this is little higher than I expected, really to kick NVidia in the nuts is should have been £650 for XT and £550 for the other or at least £699 for XT.

The non XT versions are also pretty slow? So if it's £650 for the non XT...bleh
You know that if they increase US prices they'll increase EU ones too, heck probably by another 5-10% on top
I work for a system integrator tariffs don’t work like that.
Yes I worked in import export for a bit, Tariffs are charged upon import, in this case, the money goes straight to the government from the importer, Who then, of course, bumps up the price down the chain. Technically, you would be the importer if you brought one in from abroad.
This should not lead to prices here increasing, as the UK hasn't changed its tariffs. However, it has in the past been used as an excuse to bump up profits.
Waiting for a 9070xt price as my 7900xtx nitro+ just died, RIP. So suffering with 9800x3d graphics for a month or so
Depending on the price, I'll either get that or a s/h 7900xtx when the prices drop as supply ramps up
{edit} as I run a local LLM I know the 24Gb 7900xtx now works excellently with DeepSeek, so the price of the 9070xt is going to be crucial

Expect the worst, these aren't going to be much cheaper (if at all) than the 5070ti comes in at.
I can't see it going for EUR1100-EUR1300 like the 5070ti
It's funny how acceptable prices have shifted a lot since the beginning of this thread.
Remember the 5070 is $549. 5070 Ti (which is probably ~4080 maybe even the super) is $749.
That's without even considering the 7900 XT which is $799.
Stop making up prices. Apart from the 4090, prices quickly came crashing down to MSRP. The 5080 can already be pre-ordered for £1055.
