In the US not only are retailers scalping they are only selling cards in bundles.

If you want an MSI 5090 you also have to purchase their ultra high end PSU at the same time.

That gold PSU looks good though, but 300-400more no thank you

Have we had a single case of them asking for more yet? I think its more an extreme precaution than something to actively worry about. Doing it over a small fluctuation would do more damage than good. I think it's unlikely.

If at the time stock improves for most retailers, the card is ready for dispatch and they ask for more money. I will cancel… I would rather pay the scalped retail price elsewhere.

Update: My pre-order queue for the el cheapo ZOTAC 5090 SOLID went down from 377 to 366 (with another supplier that shall not be named). The pre-order price at the time I placed it was £2099

Fairly sure those are just cancellations. I don't think anyone has had Zotac stock yet. I'm in the same queue and have only moved from 107 to 105 in the last 2 days.

Mate of mine was 137 for that card with that seller for days and he said it moved to 135 earlier today.
