Website where i buy second hands parts from have a couple 3090's listed for £699, i paid £650 for mine 2 years ago.I haven't checked on used prices of 3090s lately, surely that's a better go to for 24GB unless you're concerned about power draw?
Showing prices. I will wait and see what AMD has to offer.
Not an in demand card the 3090/3080 release was a shizzshow.Exactg same. Managed to get a 3060ti here at launch and was pretty smooth. Not sure what has gone on since then. Feels bad to have it taken away at the last second
More likely, though, they will do a card with 5070Ti raster performance, worse RT and upscaling, and they will sell it for £700.If AMD can do a card with 5070Ti performance for £600 they will sell loads.
So, pretty much 4080S price for 4080S performance? Nice progress in a couple of years, isn't it?so if you wanted a 5070Ti today you had to pay £900-£1000.
This is crazy that lower cards are selling for more than the next model up FE - But worse people are actually paying that.
This what stagnation and pricing due to monopoly looks like. So, pretty much 4080S price for 4080S performance? Nice progress in a couple of years, isn't it?
I fully agree. Now, does anyone still really hope that 6000 series will be any different? This what stagnation and pricing due to monopoly looks like.
uou maybe able to buy 2 AMD 9070 to crossfire if crossfire still a thingYup been there but I ***ed up.... what have I done ?
A grand for a crappy 5070 OMG... Wish I bought the 5080 now

Good luck, amd will **** the bed and it will launch for 750uou maybe able to buy 2 AMD 9070 to crossfire if crossfire still a thing
Absolutely insane. My limit for the 5070ti was £800 as I expected to pay slightly more for a non MSRP model. Glad I managed to get under that but if I couldn't, I would have waited for AMD and pricing to normalise.so if you wanted a 5070Ti today you had to pay £900-£1000.

I'm going red this round on principal even if 5080s and 5090s come back in stock.Pretty much decided after today to go team red, not that I'd have bought a 5070ti but more so the price gouging. Of course 9070xt is terrible the 3090 will get another 12 months of use
I class 5070/5070ti/5070 super as 3rd tier. This is the 4th tier as Nvidia hasn't launched a 2nd tier yet this gen.
Thats assuming if the 9070XT is great and then that retailers wont try and push up prices and scalp it so they don't get left holding the overpriced Nvidia bag.Tbf Nvidia have hardly made any improvements in RT this generation , we'll have to see how much AMD has closed the gap , doesn't have to beat it just needs to be priced well
Would you have classed a 2060 as 3rd tier since that was closer in performance to its generations flagship than the 5070ti is to a 5090?I class 5070/5070ti/5070 super as 3rd tier.
