NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Had MSi ventus one in my OCUK basket for a friend (as I don’t have to pay for delivery) but couldn’t check out. He’s now changed his mind and wants a 9070 non XT as he’s heard from somewhere Nvidia will be more generous with vram for the 60 series and wants to spend less on a tide-me-over card.

Oof paid way o
Any luck guys ?

I managed to bag an MSI Inspire, one of the pricier 5070 Ti's but it is a beauty :o, I'll just have to put in a bit of extra hustle, make some extra money to justify this :D :p . I Didn't want to miss out on launch and be waiting another month for AMD. Excited!

Oh boy, hit refresh on competitor website

Pricing.
Lowest £799
Average £900
High £1000
Not sure why anyone's surprised its exactly the same as the US where the MSRP is $750 but almost nothing is available at that price not even the one Jay2Cents was sent to review... at $750 but online in a store it was $900 and for other cards for $1000. He contacted Nvidia and said whats going on? They replied oh noes shock horror that shouldn't be happening and lo and behold the price dropped to $750... for that card and only that card and only in that store everywhere else nothing has changed. You work it out.

He did a follow up where he asked about the prime oc price. Apparently that one is $950 cos as we all know a small factory overclock is always worth $200

3 weeks since ordering my 5090 now. Starting to get second thoughts on it, and tempted to just cancel the order and spend the money on a holiday instead... Wish there was aa better update from OCUK than the one I just spotted on Twitter (while typing this) showing "RTX 5090 ETA: 2-14 Weeks".

Anyone received a Zotac 5090 from OCUK yet? I've ordered the Solid (non-OC).
