Every time AMD release something I get slightly hyped then it falls flat. The cards do end up being solid but I've grown a bit pessimistic now.
The whole pc gpu landscape is terrible really.
I hear what you are saying but it is a shame because the last two generations from AMD have actually been very good IMO. Look at where the 7900XTX sits now against the 5070Ti, outside of RT performance it’s still a really strong card and it’s two years old at this point. Likewise the 6900/6950 was a very strong performer.
The irony is that this generation AMD could very possibly have competed at the high end again without requiring too much additional performance, given how flat the 50 series looks.
