That really is the big question — which Newcastle team is going to turn up tonight? The one that beat Arsenal twice on the bounce and scored four in 11 minutes against Forest, or the one that capitulated against City, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford, (and Forest in the second half at the weekend)… I'm not sure anyone knows. And as we saw on Sunday, it might be a different team from one half to the next.
I wonder what effect that will have on the team (if any).
Very little I'd imagine. If I'm not mistaken they're still allowed in the dressing room pre game and at HT and they can still communicate with the bench so Slot will still be able to get his instructions onto the pitch, the message will just be relayed by one of the coaches on the touchline.

No Isak tonight, easy 3-0 win tonight for Liverpool
Got a good feeling about tonight. Surely we can't lose to Ipswich. Surely!

Its all going Liverpools way this season. Haaland out for their City game. Isak out for the Newcastle game.
I think Liverpool should bench Salah just to keep it fair.
