I love the sun. Hot or cold. Haven't seen this much sun in 2025 it's been amazing.

During the cold war we all thought that we could get nuked at any time but were quite philosophical about the possibility. Today seems a little more real in that we are more informed (if not better) but once again there is little point being too exercised about the percentages.

Super late reply but rarely dive into GD:

We'll cycle most of the time because it's convenient and free, weather permitting.
9292.nl will have live advice for all public transport and will offer alternative solutions if your train / metro / bus / tram is cancelled.
OV-pay, tap in / out, will only work with debit cards and not credit cards. (Even credit cards which directly debit your account won't work and also won't be accepted in a few more traditional shops such as Albert Hijn).
 
What happened to @dlockers I see he is a deleted user now…

I know he wound a lot of people up. But I enjoyed his diy stuff in Home and Garden.

Thanks for your insights. It didn't work with my debit card either, but I rarely use it so won't be surprised if the bank required PIN for the next use. Back for 3 nights at the end on the month so will have to work out something.
