I was looking at the site back when you started % and they did update it to 36%. The chief improvement has been upscaling and RT which going by this forums enthusiasts the past few years is surely what everyone wanted right?

it's only an issue on nvidia as they only have 1 shunt resistor so if the cable you plug in isn't balanced it can overload a single cable most have 2-3 shunt resistors and are not hitting 600w loads so theres no issue

The 6700XT was 33% better than an RX5700XT IIRC.

£160 is a decent chunk of change between them, and you are only get ~15-20% higher RT performance (not sure where 25% came from?) for that and DLSS4.

I think thats quite a bit extra to pay for those two things when you are already spending nearly £600, but it may be worth that for some.

£160 will also bump you up to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Ryzen 7 9800X3D from a Ryzen 7 7700X.

Reviewers only use the best CPUs,but an RTX5070TI with a Ryzen 7 7700X might not be as consistent as a RX9070XT with an Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

Interesting find by Jayz2cents in this video. The 5070Ti has significantly more frametime spikes than the 9070/XT cards in RT titles. The 9070 cards feel smoother even if the frame rate may be lower.

At the time of writing Green, as of tomorrow Red. RT is **** on this tier of cards, it was **** before, will be **** after. Even the 5090 struggles in some games.

Also, no I wouldn't pay for better RT, I mostly play Multiplayer games or Simulation/City builders, neither of which are good with RT or even use them, a top down game it doesn't matter.

Why would I pay for something I don't need to use? Sure it's nice to have but it's not a seller for me. I haven't bought a game in over 2 years outside of forgetting to pause my Humble Bundle now and again.

The reviews are so strange as I seen one that has the 9070.slightly faster than a 4070ti Super,but others 4070 Super/5070

I can already see myself trying to get one of the few MSRP Pulse models and failing, and I'm almost beginning to resent it already wondering how many frickin bots and scalpers beat me to it

If the supply doesn't run out, and/or nvidia get their stock situation sorted out, then yes. However, I'm not convinced on either front, and neither am I convinced that scalpers won't try regardless.

Includes Ireland I believe or certainly Northern Ireland.

Na, the demand just isn't there for people to pay a few hundred over the odds for this card compared with the stock available, so margins for scalpers will be tiny.

Completely not worth the hassle.
